It’s almost Independence Day!
That means food, grilling, pool, and, of course, hot dogs and burgers.
This year, I’m focusing on hot dogs.
I’ve made four different versions because I’m kinda ADD when it comes to making food. I can never really narrow down what the hell I really want.
I want it ALL.
The first one, (left to right) is topped with a pineapple pepper relish and drizzled with blueberry Sriracha sauce (don’t judge me). The second is topped with a bacon onion jam and mustard. The third is topped simply with a jalapeno coleslaw, and finally the last one is adorned with marinara and provolone cheese.
Yes, a bit all over the place, but hell – there’s something here for everybody.
I made the bacon onion jam for a burger that isn’t on the blog yet, but it will be soon, promise. And you’ll thank me, too. You’re welcome.
The one on the end is my favorite. It’s like chicken parmesan. But without the chicken.
I guess it’s a hot dog parmesan. Or a Parm Hot Dog.
Or maybe you could call it an Italian Hot Dog.
So. Good.
Be careful with your damn fireworks this year – but have fun!

July is my favorite month, for the simple reason that it’s National Hot Dog Month. Can I get a fuck yeah? I’m all over these weenies, Shea. Good job!
